The days these days, they're a blur.

I'm told it's Friday, and that it's a good thing, though I've not noticed much in the way of change to distinguish the weekends from the weeks, so busy have they all been lately. But there's this:

Yesterday, I made a gorgeous beef stew in the crockpot, had it cooking by 9:00 a.m., thinking to forestall the busy, busy evening ahead from becoming one without dinner. Still, yesterday's the day the crockpot went on strike, unnoticed until I went to serve the uncooked stew at nearly 8:00 p.m. on the only night our daughter's actually been home for dinner in weeks. Were I the type to cry in disappointment, I'd have been a puddle of tears. Being more the type to throw a tantrum, I did that instead. Which... well, didn't make the cereal taste any better, I'm sorry to report.

Today, I shall spend time with second graders making pillows. I don't sew, so this could be interesting. I'll get back to you on that, should I ever get around to posting here again.

Meantime, I miss the days when blogging was something we all did. Facebook is the anti-blog, I'm convinced.

So that's where you've been hiding. Facebook? Unacceptable!

I miss you, and I love you. And I miss blogging a little, too. Seems all the things I think of to write about are not happy, amusing things, though. Pondering this.

Agghhh! You've been quietly updating here and I haven't been following. Since Twitter and Facebook I haven't blogged. Well, a couple of days ago I posted that crickets were chirping at my place. The first post since January! I still don't even have my vacation pictures on Flickr.

I miss all the old school bloggers. The new blogging people just are not the same.

How did the pillows work out?

I've missed blogging as well. Of course, I had other reasons for not blogging (meaning Facebook might be the anti-blog but I still like it for keeping in touch with certain people) and since I believe I've dealt with those reasons (at least I hope I have), I've started a new blog. :) I love you Twinnie.
