Hiya Innernuts!
Thanks to you all for the kind words, thoughts and prayers. The news on my brother remains hopeful and for the most part unchanged for the time being. We're all going to give the anxiety a rest for the holiday weekend.
Sorry to have disappeared on you all, my innernuts... it's just that a series of non-traumatic but nevertheless internet-interrupting events converged at one time to make it more trouble than I could manage to find time and opportunity at a computer. I'm back(-ish) now though, so probably you need to lock up the silver and place your valuables in a safe-deposit somewhere if it worries you.
Anyway, hope everyone has a warm and wonderful Thanksgiving weekend planned. (Unless you live in a nation that celebrates Thanksgiving at some other time, in which case, I'm sorry you have to continue working until Saturday like normal. That's just the price you pay for having a civilized health-care delivery and payment system.) Me? I'll be at a winery, drinking wine, and... and... well, I'm sure there's something else on the agenda, but I just keep getting distracted by the thought of all that wine. Oh yeah, food. Lots of it. And wine. Did I mention we're having Thanksgiving at a winery? I did? Oh. Good, then you know.
Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you each can hold onto the thought of things for which you're grateful, and may the sentiment renew for you the joy that already exists in your own life.

Thanksgiving at a winery sounds like the best idea ever! I'll keep sending good thoughts your way - have a great holiday!
I'm sending all the meager magic I have your way. I doubt it will help much, but it's all I got.
Happy Thanksgiving to you.
Hello, shari.
ooh! thanks for the reminder! i can't believe i nearly got to 7:30 am and hadn't had my glass of wine yet!
Anxiety takes a holiday--good idea.
Thanksgiving at a winery--great idea!
Happy Thanksgiving, Eclectics!
I'm thankful that eclectic is going to share some of that wine with me.
What a great way to spend the holiday. Take care and have a great time.
Happy Thanksgiving Twinnie. I love you.
Salud!
:D
Happy Thanksgiving.
So glad there's hopeful news for your brother. Anxiety doesn't fix anything anyway, it's just a drag on you. Good for you for leaving it behind, even if it's just for the weekend.
Thanksgiving at a winery, eh? Was it fun?
Love hugs, sis!
Hope your Thanksgiving was nice!
If you spent it at the winery, does that mean ya'll skipped the hike and cinnamon rolls this year?
Jenny: Well, lacking a conveniently located goat farm... we made do. ;) Hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving weekend!
Scott: Actually, I'm of the opinion that you have more than your fair share of magic, and I'm quite pleased to have you share it this way. Happy Thanksgiving to you, too. Hi Scott.
Brandon: No silly, reminders are for things like allergy shots, co-worker's birthday, or haircut appointments. Nobody should need to be reminded to drink wine, I don't care what time it is.
Shawkey: Happy Thanksgiving to you, too!
Zuhn: Where's your glass?
Kranki: Thanks, Kranki. I admit, I envy you Canadians having Thanksgiving in October when it still feels like Fall. Maybe next year I'll celebrate it twice. :)
Traci: Aw, thanks Twinnie. Love you too.
Mo/Dis: Cheers! I bet you had Thanksgiving at a DIFFERENT winery, didn'tcha?
William: You too, Bill.
Squirl: It was fun! Hope you enjoyed Thanksgiving too!
TysGirl: Skip the hike?! NEVER! We put the cinnamon roll dough in the bread machine, went for a hike, then finished the rolls and ate them. THEN, after we cleaned up, we gathered everything and headed up to the winery. It was just their family and our family combining for Thanksgiving dinner. Quite lovely.
Just dropping by to wish your little pirate a Happy Birthday. And Congratulations to you for making such adorable babies!
Nope. At Grandma and Grandpa's.
Dry house. Thank God.
Would have gotten very drunk if that were not the case. Or crate.
Whichever came first. :P
Hope you and all the E's had a great holiday!!!!!! :)
I know my comments are awfully late, good timing was never one of my strengths. I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful, and that your Christmas will be to. Any update on your brother?
Next time you have a glass of wine, have an extra glass for me because I am NOT drinking for two these days. Sigh.
Merry Christmas, sister, to you and the whole family from Ichabod and me!
Merry Christmas Twinnie! I love you.
Okay, now I'm back wishing my sister and her family a Happy New Year!
Happy New Year Twinnie!
Happy New Year!
