Help!
I have a post all written and saved as a draft, but for reasons I won't articulate here, I want to password-protect it. Any ideas how to do that in this here Blogger thingamabob? Thanks.
Maybe I'm eclectic, or maybe it's just a short attention span...

Just tell me straight... you want everybody to be able to read it but me!
Unless things have changed since I left Blogger, I don't think you can password protect just one post. It used to be all or nothing (the entire blog or not at all). That's why I went to WordPress.
Hopefully someone who is still on Blogger can help you and say that I'm wrong (and it can be done).
Looks like they haven't changed that part yet. You can protect your entire blog, but you can't protect one entry.

"WordPress iz good, dood." :P
Alas, you may have to resort to that old-world pre-TwitterSpaceFaceSMS and use...gasp...email.
I have no idea...but, when you figure it out, please send me the password.
What William said. Or what Mr. B said, email it to a bunch of people. Especially me. :)
Now I'm worried. I hope you and the rest of the Eclectics are ok.
You should bail on Blogger and come to wordpress. It's very user friendly and lets face it, it's what all the cool kids are using :)
You could tweet it, 140 characters at a time. Yeah okay, not so helpful, am I?
I would like to be on the email list as well, and I would also like to extend an invitation to join us at WordPress. Didn't you set up an account there once upon a time?
Hmm...I'll look into it. Never fear, your personal tech support guy is on the job*.
*Right after I get home from work.
Dave2: Actually, you are one person I was hoping would read it -- I have plans for your graphic design skills!!
Q: See, that's just what I was afraid of.
Mo/Dis: Danggit. Alright, alright... maybe I'll wordpress.
Bloggy: Thank heavens you didn't suggest writing it on **gasp** paper!!
William: The air express company has no idea either. [Please, please, please be old enough to get that reference.] ;) Alright, if I figure it out, you'r on the list.
Susie: It's just a good thing for you that I have such great commenters for you to copy, isn't it?! ;) Email's in the mail.
TG: Everyone's great, so don't worry your pretty red head. Bailing on Blogger seems so haaaaaarrrrrrrrrd; but I DO want to be a cool kid, so. . .
Shawkey: Yeah, I did awhile back, but I couldn't get it to transport all my posts, and I was used to Blogger and its idiosyncracies, and I'm lazy, and, and, and... maybe I'll have to try it again. *sigh*
I/F: Oh how I love having my own personal tech support guy!!! Now, how to get rid of this "work" of which you speak...
I don't know a thing about transferring your posts from this blog to wordpress but once you're there, it's super easy to use.
I'm glad everyone is ok. I was worried since Mr. E hasn't been feeling well.
Someone feel free to contradict me if I'm wrong, but this doesn't seem to be possible under Blogger with a single post. The whole blog can be set to be password protected, but not a post. I'll keep digging...
Blogger is all or nothing. But more important, who are you trying to hide this post from?
TG: Yeah maybe... but I'm sticking around here for a bit still. Maybe this summer when I'm off work for a bit I'll take the time to move, but not right now. Thanks for the concern! You're too sweet!
I/F: OH NO... my last, best hope. Well, if you can't solve it, it can't be solved and that's that. Except to buy you that drink to say thank you. :)
MW: YOU! Nah, I'm just kidding. Check your email.
