Spoiled Much? Why yes, I am. Thank you, SoozieQ!
I should have checked my horoscope or something for this past week, and maybe bought a lotto ticket (or 20), because I've been unusually lucky. The whole "Hey, a famous Broadway star wants to meet you" thing was pretty mind-boggling by itself; then, the very next day I received a large, heavy package in the mail. Wha?? I didn't order anything recently, and I couldn't imagine what's in it. But look:

Yes, that's right. SoozieQ sent me all these lovely gifts before she left on vacation. How in THE HELL does someone on her way across the country for a business convention find time not only to think of the perfect gifts for another blogger, purchase and package said gifts, but also locate the post office in order to ship them?!?! WOW! What a huge effort and wonderful surprise!!
So, though I rarely feel confident enough to bark orders at you all, I'm making an exception today: Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to find a way to (happily) surprise a friend. It will make that person's day. Or week. Honest.

Hey! I did this assignment LAST week! I always was an overachiever! ROFL
I gotta know. What DO they teach us?
Traci: Go to the head of the class, young lady! Oh wait -- you're already in first place! Hee!
Bloggy: Now see, that's just exactly what's wrong with America today -- no one wants to do the work for themselves. Sorry pal, no Clif's Notes on this one. You're just gonna have to read it yourself! *heh*
What, you think you're Deb now, giving out assignments? :)
That Suzie, she's a good egg. I know--I've met her! And you--it's not just luck that's bringing all this good fortune your way, you know.
I'll have to do some thinking about how to make someone's week . . . .
Yay for spoilage!
Will think of something to make someone's week.
Done. He's gonna flip!
;oD
oh wow-that's excellent!!!
hey, nothing wrong with orders-especially if they're like the one you just ordered us to do :)
That is because SoozieQ totally rocks! I so love that girl!
Nice gifts...you rock too & deserved them:)
Shelly
Does sex count?
I am so glad everything arrived in one piece! I was really worried about that wine and you KNOW that was the most important item (well to me at least ;-)
Actually I cannot take full credit. The Hubs actually ran your package out to be mailed. Isn't he a sweetie?
Trust me Eclectic it's NOT luck. You deserve every single good thing that comes your way.
Oh and Sharkey should be excused from the assignment because she already sent someone (ME!) something (cupcake bath melts). I think she should get an "A+" on her assignment. However, she does strike me as an over-achiever, so maybe she'll do this assignment for extra credit :-)
Wow, I've been too lazy to buy a stamp for a card...I think this might inspire me to go out and spend $0.39!
Fair enough. I won't tell people why I wear my socks inside out, saying they'll have to watch the movie to find out.
SURPRISE! I'M HERE!
Wha?
Oh... you meant something above and beyond that, huh?
Ok... I might be late with my assignment... is there extra credit?
Hmmm, that sounds like a worthwhile assignment--I'll try to get an A+!
Now, what to do....
Shaw-key: Hee! I could never walk even a step or two in those shoes, but maybe we could think of this as me playing dress-up?
Mo-Dis: Well done, grasshoppah!
Dawn: Cool! But I might get outta hand, so I'll try not to make a habit of ordering you around...!
Shel: She does rock! ;) Are we still on for September?
Jim: Depends. Was it good sex? Then yes, it counts.
Sooze: Um... the wine? Yeah, it's not so intact anymore. *ahem* /hiding bottle opener and wine-stained stemware
Sandra: Hi! Y'know, you can go to the US Postal Service website and buy stamps online now. How cool is that?!
Bloggy: There's a move about your socks? *sheesh* I'm always the last to know everything.
CKelli: Hee! You get an A!
Effie: I'm sure you'll be an excellent student!
Wow, what a great gift! Soozie really is a sweetie!
Now, what do I do??? Hmmm, gonna take some thinking.
Squirl: She certainly is. And so are you!! I bet you have enough extra credit points in this class already to pass with flying colors.
One of the million reasons to love Sooz! That lady is AWESOME!....and so are you!
Angie
Yippeeee! Care package!
Does surprising your wife in the shower count?
Just asking.
(Goes off whistling)
SoozieQ really is wonderful!
The only thing I can surprise anybody with (today) is a bucketful of perspiration... and that's not a good thing.
Guess I'll wait a few days and think this assignment over.
That is so sweet . . . I'm gonna have to think about it . . . and get back to you. :)
Excellent suggestion...it's always good to give. Thanks for reminding me to do so.
SoosieQ never sent me anything.
Williams Brother
You made me smile. :)
I'm not good at barbecues of surprises. I always spill the beans.
Done. And thank you. For many things, but mostly for being you.
Great assignment, E. I'm on it.
Or I could have already done it. Does an electronic Lice Comb I got my sis in law from ebay count?
I'm not suprised. I don't know-know you Shari and yet I feel and inordinate amount of affection for you. I'm not nearly so togther as suzieq, but the affection is still there. For the joy you bring to this here world wide web, you deserve wine, plants and dog treats galore!
Angie: Thank you!! That Sooze is pretty amazing. Oregon, here we come!!
Kranki: I know! Isn't that just the best?!
HelloGato: That's not exactly the sort of surprise I had in mind... but you definitely surprised me! ;)
Limpy: Depends on what you surprised her with. (Quick, call the grammar police.)
SierraB: Is it still cooking you folks in CA? Our heatwave seems to have let up as of today. Thank goodness!
Nina: I bet we could surprise Shawna with something if we put our heads together!
Rick: Well, I didn't do much giving, but being on the receiving end sure was a nice surprise. Soozie's the bomb!
William's Bro: Welcome! Yeah, I know... I'm her favorite. Cope. ;)
Squirl: That's one of my favorite things to do, Sis!
Gary: Ha! That's why I don't buy Christmas presents early -- I'd never make it till Christmas, and then I'd have to buy another gift at the last minute anyway, so...
Matt: My thoughts are with you so often these days. Thanks for stopping by, and for those incredibly kind words, Matt. *hug*
Amy: It certainly counts as to the surprise factor!! So it's true then, eh? People really WILL buy anything on ebay?! Hee!
Jill: Back atcha, sistah. Truly.
Rose: She's good peeps!
