Photos. Because I can.
Here ya go, then. Pictorial illustration of meteorological fact: It snowed yesterday behind my house. ON JUNE 10.

WHATever.

Next, we turn to photos of trophies, and the young men at our house who receive them:

(Although, I note for the record that these trophies are junk compared to the awesome ones that The Q and her Hubs have made for the teams in years past. My league has evidently given up on free-market concepts, insisting that all awards be ordered through the store THEY use. Sheesh.)

Finally, a portrait of happiness, as interpreted by Brizzy:

Because all dogs should get to go camping.

I'd comment on what fine looking young men you're raising, but I'm too busy laughing about the snow.
Snow, in the midst of "global warming".
At first I was appalled by the snow, but then I saw the trophies.
The HELL?!? How can they insist you buy something so far inferior to our products?
But I have to say, your boys are incredibly adorable and by the fourth picture I had forgotten about the whole trophy thing.
Then when I saw Brizzy, I just made some weird clucking noise & wished my dog was more normal & cute and less weird & schizo.
OMG....how sweet is that dog???? And the kid! You have lots of cute boys living at your house.
I know, I can't believe how freaky the weather is now. The mountains are getting snow fall and here in the valley we are getting thunderstorms (almost never happens in PDX). There have been a couple of times that it's even seemed like "tornado weather"...and that REALLY never happens here.
Did you go skiing?
Ang
TG: You laugh at my snow, I laugh at your hormones. Sounds fair. ;)
Bloggy: Global warming is said to have the effect of making weather patterns less predictable, and I certainly wouldn't have predicted THIS, so...
Q: Small town politics, I guess. Makes me crazy! And don't you go dissin' on my Moto-dog. I love that freaktard just the way he is.
Angie: NO, I didn't go skiing, thankyouverymuch. Isn't this the strangest spring EVER?
And yes, he is the sweetest of sweet dogs, and he was SO SO SO SO happy all weekend long!
Bitch.
p.s. LoveYouMeanIt
TG: *heh*
Yay! A Brizzy pic! I don't even remember the last time I saw him 'round these parts.
Sorry 'bout the snow, but I do have to say: Better you than me. :P
Love the shots. I was a catcher through college. Great position to play.
Global warming doesn't just mean more warming.
Ta.
i will trade this heat for that snow in a second.
You let your kids keep trophies that are NOT made by Suzy Q...oh man.
YAY! for Happy Dogs!
YAY! for earned trophies!
YA-- er, no... no YAY! for snow. Not in January, and definitely not in June. Yeesh. And, seriously, your "behind the house" looks SO WAY DIFFERENT than mine...
Shawkey: Niiiiice. ;) Alright, alright, my weather sucks. But at least I'm not drowing in my own sweat like the good folks in D.C. And yep, a Brizzy pic. Doesn't that mean you have to post a Maggie pic now?
MW: He LOVES playing catcher, and that's where he mainly stays. Although, sometimes he plays short or 2nd too.
Kat!: No, no, no... just come and JOIN me!
William: I KNOW! The problem is, how do you confiscate a trophy that says "CHAMPIONS"??
CK: Um... probably that's because WISCONSIN IS TOO FAR AWAY!!!
I'd trade snow for this heat too!
Lovely family (which includes your dog of course...) but then you already knew that, didn't you?
Your view is better than the ones I see on the Leavenworth webcam. (Yes, I bookmarked it in my favorites after I moved here, why do you ask?) And with our temps over the weekend, I would have gladly rolled in your snow. Maybe your dog would have joined me? I could love a dog like that. :)
I miss snow in June... every Idaho summer, it was pretty much a given.
Brizzy is amazing.
I'm tentatively promising to move west in three years. Maybe?
I don't know about you, but we finally FINALLY got sun today. I sure hope it lasts.
Snow = S.U.C.K.
Kids = Yay!
Team Sports Politics = Boo!
Brizzy = *babbling incoherently over photo of dog*
Wonderful pictures! But, snow, in June? Dang!
Good pictures of the boys, lousy trophies aside. And Brizzy sure looked happy. Annie would love to go camping with him.
Just stopping by to let you know that in our Little League champioship game yesterday the other team had a large red-headed kid playing catcher. I didn't recognize him, and was wondering if you were letting Jr. E free lance for various teams during their play-off runs.
Not wanting to take the chance, I had our pitcher hit him in the ribs*, knocking him out of the game.
(not actually true. No catchers were injured in the creation of this post, even if I was kind of suspicious about the whole thing)
SierraBella: Hello! How nice to see you out and about!!
Kccinova: He is the sweetest! You are invited to come play with him and roll in the snow anytime we have snow!! Leavenworth is about 25 minutes from my house. We love it here!
Matt: Yes, the whole month of June in Moscow was nothing like what we're used to here in Wenatchee. This is definitely a Moscow spring. Brizzy's a total furry mess at the moment. Now then... MOVE BACK WEST!!!! I heard you promise, I did. I'm holding you to it.
IronFist: Yep, sun here too. In fact, almost too much of it all of a sudden! But still, nice to see it.
Mo/Dis: He babbles right back at you, and sends a lick on the nose!
Squirl: Oooh, is that an offer to bring Annie out this summer? Wouldn't that be fun?!
Limpy: Good call probably. I mean, I don't know about THAT kid, but MY redheaded catcher is trouble for baserunners. Of course, it will be years before you teach your kid to get "on base", right? ;)
Snow? Hmmm.
Trophies? Cool.
Dog? Adorable.
Nothing better than a photo of a happy dog.
I just wanted to stop back over and say how much I love being called a whore...you rock, lady.
Ha! Your post is two days older than my post, now my next-to-last one.
But, then again, you have a lot of good IRL reasons not to post regularly. :-)
