A String of Little Things
It occurred again to me today how life really is merely a series of small events which, when taken together, comprise the sum total of a person's experience and thus, existence.
Here's the sunrise on Thanksgiving morning, taken from atop a hill nearby during the Annual Thanksgiving Hike:

A few short days later, a little boy I love turned 5 years old and celebrated at a local gymnastics center:

Sometime shortly thereafter, a hottub was delivered and set up at our house:

In what seemed like a blink, a lighted tree and festive stockings appeared:

And then my dear sister, Susie asked for cookies:

May the coming year bring you and yours an endless string of little things, and may they be filled with laughter and love. Happy Holiday Season!!

Those are some fine cookies. Why are there tears rolling down my face? There could be lots of reasons, I suppose, but . . . how can you miss someone you've never met? I miss you, my sweet sister. Merry Christmas.

So what happens when a non-relative asks for cookies? Like, maybe a blogger? Are there shipping and handling fees involved?
You gotta be all paranoid and not allow anonymous comments, totally harshing my mellow and killing my buzz at the prospect of posting a comment as:

Hey Sweetie... I just wanted you to know I stopped by and hugged you. I love you!
