Time

Each tick marks its own passing; separately, yet inextricably linked to each tick immediately fore and aft. Rather like lives in being; individuals, yet inexorably connected to the generations on either side.

Time is wild. It is also free (although not often enough). It can be sensitive, stolen, used, spent, squandered and made; but it is no servant and won't be sold.

Funny how with persistence and repetition I can train each lap, each mile to take less time; but all the training in the world will not cause time to speed or slow.

What is this all about, you ask? It's about damn time.

Speaking about time...isn't it about time for us to see you & the Q again?
Love you,

ALLOTMENT

Your days on Earth
are just so few
that there's exactly
time to do
the things that don't
appeal to you.

- Piet Hein

I try to prove that wrong at least once a day.

Shangie: The Q?! That's brilliant! So she shall be known henceforth. And I think we need a christening ceremony. What do you think about Seattle?

Bloggy: Or, you'd be Jim Croce. Whichever.

Limpy: No, no... that was YOU hanging out with the disease-infested ticks. The ticks I hang out with all have matching tocks.

Nilbo: You've got a Piet for every occasion, haven't you?! That's awesome!

TysGirl: Hey, once I figure it out, I'll be rich. And once I'm rich, I'll be traveling everywhere... which includes Knoxville. We can talk about it over margaritas out on the lake.

What time is it? Are the Trick-or-Treaters still out?

May you safely navigate through the ghosties, goblins, sprites, trolls, imps, hobgoblins, ghouls, banshees, poltergeists, specters, spirits, witches, and warlocks wandering the earth this night.

I've been here a few times, but have no comment, just a song. Bloggy did it, so can I:

if you're lost you can look--and you will find me
time after time
if you fall I will catch you--I'll be waiting
time after time

Mo/Dis: All this time, I thought golf was a sport. Who knew it's an STD too?! ;)

Nick: Yessir, at 7:18pm the trick-or-treaters were still out in force. We had a good time, thanks!

Susie: Always did like that song, though I never much cared for Cindy Lauper. There's a remake now that I like. But I like you more. Thanks, sis.

William: Lemme guess... you're a clock?

Peefer: Yuou Candians and yuour extra "u"s... so cuute!!

Nina: OK!! How's the 17th? Bring Avery!!

Shangie: Really? Funny you should mention that...
