Status Symbols
- OK, so maybe bullet points don't really count as symbols... but it's as good as it's going to get here at the moment, and hopefully it will act as a come-on for the play-by-play from my Portland weekend which I'm planning to post someday.
- First, I'll have to write it.
- But see? (points over at sidebar) I'm updating my links list every day, and given that my template is in Blogger, that's no mean feat. I think you should all be proud of me.
- This morning I arrived at work at 4:45 a.m., and discovered a 5 dollar bill in my desk. It was wearing a post-it sticky note informing me it's a tip from a client I trained yesterday!! I've never worked for, nor received, a tip my entire life, and I gotta tell you, it made my day ALL frickin' day. Which was a good thing, because...
- I STILL have a cold. I was cranky and miserable at 4:45 this morning, but luckily? I can apparently buy happiness for $5.00.

Sometimes just something small can make the whole day. Maybe take some zinc tablets?
Sorry you still have your cold. But, getting tips rocks. I used to wait tables. It's always rewarding to pick the money off the table and put it on your pocket.
