Gone -- like a freight train, gone like yesterday...
If anyone's keeping track, mark your calendars for Friday morning at 3:00a.m., because that's when the Eclectic Family will be leaving our home -- bound for the Seattle airport, headed ultimately for North Port, Florida, by way of several other airports and a rental car.
Yes, we plan to visit the world of theme parks near Orlando while we're in the area, but mostly we intend to walk to the beach, spread out the beach blankets, slather on the sunscreen (because seriously, I have to tan just to be flesh-toned...), and ignore the world. Well, except for the children, who probably shouldn't be ignored near water. But my in-laws do not have internet access, I don't have a laptop, and I will be quite completely off-line for a whole week. I'll have my cell phone, but that's it, and even that shouldn't be on much.
I'll be back the following weekend. Be good to yourselves, each other, and the people around you.

Hey, Lawnwhisperer is going to be in Northport all week visiting his in-laws? Are we related? Seriously he will be there with his family. Be on the look out for him.
I thought maybe you'd have a little meet-up with William and his crew. And Lawn Whisperer too? That'd be great!

I don't know if you're taking requests or not, but two things:
1) Have a lot of fun,
2) Bring back some beach pictures? I've never been to Florida but I hail from a warmer climate and grew up on the beach and sure miss it quite a bit these days.

Yay! Have fun sweetie! I was offline for 4 whole days and it was lovely. The beach we went to wasn't anywhere near as exotic as the beach you are enjoying now however it was wonderful.
p.s. I have to tan just to get flesh colored too!
