'07 In Review
OK... it's 4 days old now, and that's a fine time to review everything I've accomplished in '07.
Alright, then. There you have it. I've accomplished exactly nothing in the new year, and it's very likely to stay that way for some time. You know how a puppy will follow its own tail, yipping and barking, spinning and snapping, spending enormous energy and effort to chase frantically after that which by the bounds of simple physics and reality cannot be effectively caught? Yeah, well... that pretty much explains '07 so far.
You are all very sweet to worry -- I'm fine and I miss you terribly!! I'll be around checking up on you at some point in the near future, but at the moment there's a tail behind me begging to be chased. Gotta go!

Oh and not just puppies do that tail chasing thing...the Dog will be 2 years old in a matter of weeks and he'll chase just about anything...even imaginary things.

accomplishment is HIGHLY overrated.
I don't know why we're so demanding of ourselves.
I mean, we're only four days into '07 and it's already starting to get overwhelming at times.

Well, we speculated a lot of reasons for your absence, but I don't think anyone said, "I'll bet she's chasing tail." Hmmm. Next time we'll know.

I love your list. A totally appropriate list for 2007. Me? I've:
- visited a few friends
- gone ice fishing
- driven 1600km in 24 hours
- slept
- slept
- slept
I think your list is lovely. Happy 2007.
Your accomplishing 'nothing' is probably more than what an average person accomplishes in a good month.
On the other hand, you can take notes from my cat who used to chase his tail and always managed to trap it and bite it.
