Didja see it? Didja? Huh??
My Broncos won!! They really did! 37 - 20 over the Cardinals. It makes me happy, and I realize what a sad commentary that is on how simple are my joys, but it truly makes me happy and I'll not apologize for it.
Also, I'm happy to report that I was finally able to download pictures from September on my camera, and succeeded in taking and downloading one for our greeting cards, too.
Here are the boys, in a moment of sibling comraderie where they chose to wear matching shirts for the day and just generally get along. If not for the photo, I would have forgotten all about this sweet day:

Here I am with my good friend who didn't want his name published, on the set of an old-time radio show we performed around Labor Day:

And here is the greeting card photo, though I'll never be confused with SoozieQ or Shawkey for my photography skills:

Cross your fingers -- my camera may be back in business! I certainly hope so.

Hey if we can't enjoy the small victories of our struggling teams, what's the use in watching sports? Congrats on the Broncos "W". Me and Mrs Guy aren't much of NFL fans (living in TN and having Wisconsin connection) not much to root for these days.. although the Titans have been on a bit of a run. Actually we're more into the college scene. Go Vols! (Tennessee -vs- Penn State in the Outback Bowl).
Great Christmas shot of the family!
Believe me, I think the Christmas pic is great! I know how hard it is to get kids and animals to all look at the camera at the same time. And it's great to see Mr. Briz--he hasn't been here in a while, and I've missed him.
Also? You have all those gifts wrapped already? Wow. Ours usually don't get wrapped until about 2.37 seconds before they're ripped open.
Cool on having the camera back. I love your pictures. I really like the greeting card photo.
Congratulations to you—AND the Broncos. They had regained the Elway spirit!
And thank you for sharing the pics. You are blessed.
beautiful!
*laughing hysterically*
"did you see the Broncos?" Aaaahahahahahaha!!
Good one, Eeeclectic!!
Great pics. I think your Christmas card gathering is sweet.
Congrats on your Broncos!
JDR: I KNOW, huh?! They're pretty great kids most of the time, though.
TyGuy: Welcome! Wisconsin?? My 10-year-old is all about the Green Bay Packers. I'd agree, though: Go Vols!!
Shawkey: Actually, the subjects were unusually cooperative, it's just I know nothing about lighting, composition, etc... But seeing their smiley faces is all anyone on my list really cares about, so it'll do! And yes, all those are wrapped, plus a million more already sent across the country, and a few more to go. Get busy!! ;)
Lynn: I know.. I'm crossing my fingers that it's going to continue working! Glad you liked the family snapshot!
S.S.Nick: Yessir, that's it!!
Traci: Thanks!!
Bloggy: Someday, Bloggy, someday...
Hemmie: Thank you! Yesterday was a good day all around.
Why didn't Joe Shlabotnick, 667 East Ave., want his name published? He's a cool guy.
your babies are just too damn gorgeous.
Oh PUH-LEEZ! Your photo is so much better and you know it. I had one dog, ONE DOG to get to cooperate and I wasn't even successful at that.
Ok hotshot photographer, next year I want to see Sapphira in the picture as well. Hmpfh. Heh. All kidding aside, it looks great.
Oh the Hubs wanted me to congratulation you on the win. Ok, not really but I wanted to pretend ;-)
~SoozieQ
Limpy: I'm not sure. But you know Joe... he's just intensely private that way. Thanks for, y'know, keeping it under your hat like that.
Kat: I think so too... but then, I'm their mom. You know what I need? Besides chocolate croissants, which OH! I already have!! I need a Chanuka photo of Winston batting a minorah or swatting a dredl or something. C'mon -- humor me!
Sooze: HA! Sapphira is in LGE's arms -- look again! If I knew something about lighting or composition, you might be able to see her without directions...!
ha! funny you should mention it, because he totally burned his ass on the menorah over the weekend. seriously, all of the fur on his bum is totally singed.
Love the pictures!
What were the boys up to? You know there had to be a darn good reason they were getting along that day.
Kat: Um, why was he backing up to the menorah? Nevermind. Kitties have their secrets, too.
SierraB: I haven't figured it out yet, but I'll let you know. There had to be something, right?
your photography skills are just fine, E. the pic looks great. it's hard enough trying to get kids to all look at the camera, but the animals too-great job :)
Yay Broncos!
Yay fixed camera!
and most of all...
YAY SIBLING COMRADERIE!!!
/My brother and I never really got into that until we were in our thirties...now we just flip each other off. ;o)
Love the pics! You know....I wondered also where the kitty was until I read your reply back to Sooz. :)
Ang
We saw it, we saw it. The Broncos Won.... oh yeah!
I think Jay did great . . .
Congratulations! Not just men in tight, tight shorts but victory too! Congratulations also on getting the camera back in action - the photos are lovely. :)

I love the Christmas picture. And even though I don't give a rip about sports I'm pleased for you that your Broncos won. :)
I'll always be a pack fan, no matter how much it hurts to watch. And this last one was definately painful.
Shari, seriously, a full day? I remember growing up with a little brother... that is a miracle.
As for the christmas card, you have a beautiful family.
OMG!!! Woman you are amazing! I looked at all the kids smiling, cute faces and didn't even *see* her. You have combined a dog, three kids and a CAT in a photo.
:::bowing down in shame:::
You ARE a photographing Goddess!!!
HEY! Things are looking pretty good from my end. Your Broncos won, your photo is taken, and everything seems pretty organised. I'll keeep my fingers crossed that the camera stays in line.
Hey, do I spy a present for my under that tree? You're so sweet, thanks. :)
Gorgeous family as always.
