No pictures, and we're all just going to have to cope.

OK, so my digital camcorder appears to have gone T.U., and I'm going to have to choose to either pay for repairs, or buy a new camera. Decisions, decisions... Sadly, I can't really afford a new camera right now because we're knee-deep in home improvement, new floors, new roof, etc. I am beyond annoyed. See, if it were just Mr. Eclectic and me, it would be no big deal to wait on the camera. But these kids keep growing and changing and experiencing memorable moments in life which I'd like to help them remember always by the simple act of taking photos. Grrrrrrrrrrr....

Time for more ice cream. Because when all else fails, eat ice cream. It's a motto to live by, I think.

You can't go wrong if the ice cream contains chocolate!

T.U.? I'm so out of it, I don't know what that means. You mean T.U. like a goldfish?

Ice cream. Definitely ice cream.

Buy disposable cameras until you can afford a NEW camera after Christmas with tax money.

i'm with sharkey - my first instinct was "woo hoo! tulane!" but then i remembered who i'm reading here and, uh, caught UP.

Oh no! I hope you're not eating ice cream by yourself!! That's just horrible! I'll be right there!

(not having a digital camera after you're so used to having one sucks.)

What good is having kids if you can't torture them later in life with videos of their childhood? So don't you see? It is because you have children that you MUST buy a new camera.

You just call me anytime you need help rationalizing another purchase.

If you're already knee deep in home improvements you'll never even notice another few hundred for a camera. Or a gross of ice cream tubs. Or both.

Hope you get something sorted soon. My digital camera's pretty pants but it works and it's all mine and I couldn't be without it!

Failing that, I'd up the ice-cream quota. :)

And yet, those abs! Life must not fail you often.

Ok, I know what T.U. means but I don't know what Sharkey means by "like a goldfish". Goldfish have tits? I'm SO out of it! ;-)

I agree with Limpy! What is a few hundred dollars in the grand scheme of remodeling?!?!

Psst... hey, got ice cream?

Oh pooey! That sucks. Ice cream is totally in order. I'll even eat some for ya.

Lynn: Does it count if it's only on top?

Shawkey: Yep, like a goldfish. And ice cream is the only remedy.

Bloggy: You're talking sensibly. What's wrong with you? Do you have a fever? Shall I call the paramedics??

Kat: Tulane? What's tha- Ohhhhhh. Right. ;) Nah. I was just talking tits.

CK: Whew! Just in time, CK! Bring brownies. ;)

Jen: You are a genius, and I'm not worthy to even open your credit card bill. Seriously.

Jim: Really?? But then what will you use? It's nice of you, but I think we'll just get ours repaired. Now, if you're offering to come over for a visit and take the pictures, that's worth talking about!!!

Mo/Dis: Well now... does anyone have such a confection? I'd be game to try it. Shall we contact your auntie in the merlot-making bizness??

Limpy: NOW you're talking! Alas, I'm doing the 'remodelling' myself, without taking a loan. So yeah, we'd notice another few hundred.

Platypus: Thanks! Yes, right now ice cream is far more affordable than a camera.

Zuhn: Ha! How do you know I haven't ice-creamed my abs to death since last year? ;)

Sooze: It's a little known biological fact that where Shawkey lives, goldfish indeed have tits, but only when they die and roll over. ;) Oh, and to answer your question, it's the difference between purchasing the floor tiles or not. THAT's what a few hundred dollars is. *sigh*

CK: Nope. Tonight I gots tequila. And limes. :)

Rick: When shall I expect you and Monica to move up here and take the job?

Kranki: Thank you!! Will you share with Yoshi? Because the idea of her eating ice cream and getting it all over her dainty whiskers definitely makes me feel better. ;)

Kittn: Now there's an idea that's retro!! Poor polaroid... destined to go the way of the buffalo and passenger pigeon. I may have to prolong its exit for a little while!

Ok, you do this to me all the time when I turn comments off certain posts.

I'm sorry to hear that your business troubles have not been resolved. Being rational is certainly not the easy way, but taking the high road is something I've always expected from you. You just seem like the kind, you know? ;)

All the best.

You are the high road type. Nothing but class and integrity coming from you, and I should know!
You are a true lady, and I am very blessed to know you in RL.
Keep going strong, E.
You can do this. :o)
(((hugs)))

Bill: I love the word "cryptic." Thanks, man.

Zuhn: Guilty as charged. ;) It isn't so much that I don't want anyone to comment, it's that I don't want people to have to. I've never actually turned comments off before. I'm grateful you've gone an extra mile to leave such a nice comment. Thanks, Zuhn.

Mo_Dis: Those words mean plenty coming from you. Thanks for them and for the hugs, Sweetie.
