Nina: We are fortunate to be surrounded by beauty here. Each of these photos was taken not more than 1 hour away from our home. Hugs and love right back to you, dearie!
Matt: Many of them, to be truthful; and you are among them. And thanks.
Bloggy: Hee! Actually, I caught him from a distance - I don't think he knew I had him. I took a series of expressions, but I liked this one best.
Shaw-key: Thanks!! Um, the story is that the campground has lots of dirt just lying around everywhere, and Li'l Smudgie is 3, so dirt can't just lie there -- it must be played with. Add an eager puppy with a penchant for kissing faces, and well, that photo is the result!
HelloGato: *heh* You said 'batteries'! Happy long weekend to you too, darlin'!
Jenny: I know, huh? I didn't know a child could even get that dirty. We were camping, and what can I say... he's an overachiever.
Zuhn: The best kind!! Hey, some people have wet markets, I have mountains. ;)
Kranki: It has been, it truly has. And I'm really reluctant to see it end. I'll miss the hanging out.
Lynn: If only the toy industry had invented mud...! My mud puppy would love to play with your mud skipper -- OH, the dirt they could kick up!
Susie: He is SUCH a mudpuppy!! Nope, not our house, just the one we rented over our anniversary getaway. It was both gorgeous AND wonderful!
Jim: He's a mess, but not predatory, thank goodness! And thanks, doll!
That house....AMAZING!!! I want to go there for OUR anniversary (in November ~ is it rentable or only for family/friends?)
I love that picture of Carter....I cannot WAIT for their wedding....SydneyandCarter.com, I will start their website soon. I'm gonna cry even though she's not my kid. Did I tell you that she WALKED for the FIRST time this weekend. YES, at our house. I totally cried. I'm such a wus.

Those are just beautiful, gorgeous, and adorable. Thanks for sharing them . . . you live in a beautiful place.
Hugs and Love!
You have a gift, indeed.
Lil Smudgie has this look on his face: "Ok, she's seen me. She knows I'm dirty. Show. No. Fear."
Gaw-geous, gaw-geous photos. So is there a story behind Lil Smudgie's smudginess?
Four words: Lord of the Flies
I hope you made it out alive!
ooh, a post from eclectic!
So you've been neglecting us because you were enjoying the outdoors? What kind of bullsh*t is that?
Looks like a really good summer so far.
Your Lil Smudgie is very, very cute. I have a six year-old we call 'Muddy Mud Skipper'. I'll bet they'd be fast friends!
Is that your HOUSE? Gorgeous and wonderful. Loving Carter the mudpuppy. You can't get that dirty without having some serious fun ;)
I love these photos! And when I saw L.E., I thought just what Jenny did - "Lord of the Flies" ... or a Mad Max film.
You're a talented lady, missy!

Great pics. I'm with Sooz about renting that that house. Wow...just wow.
Angie
Sooze: She WALKED??! OMG!! OH!! How can she walk already? The time goes too dammit fast!!
Romy: That Jenny is too funny for my own good, I'll tell you. I probably won't survive TequilaCon, because she'll make me laugh myself to death.
Ang: It was fantastic! The best weekend away we've ever enjoyed. And it was only a half-hour from home, but felt like a world apart.
I love the photos. That wonderfully dirty little face followed by the gorgeous sunset, just great!
Horses, deer, muddy faces and sunsets--what more fun could be had??!!
Wow!
