Ridge to River
Today we did this. Well, technically, I was just the sherpa. I was signed up, but my teammate bailed, so I did too. It took half the day, and I ran my ass off trying to gather all the equipment and keep everything on schedule. I think being sherpa is almost more stressful than competing! They did great. I survived.
The office is nearly organized now but not quite, even though it's been open in its new location since last Monday. We are spending the remainder of the weekend there. Any of you are welcome to come help move file cabinets.

Oh I would love to come help you move the cabinets, but there's that thing at 10a and it won't end until like 2. Then there's that other thing with the you know who that goes on until late next week. Yeah, I'm afraid I'm going to have to miss out.

ridge to river looks like so much fun... i may have to add it to my to-do list of races.
i'm not ready for it yet, but maybe someday.
on the other hand, i can't imagine being sherpa. it almost sounds like more work.
