Re-Run
I want to post, but I have other things going as well, so here's the compromise: left-overs from September. Again, if you're bored, there's the 'x' up in the corner. Thanks everyone for stopping by. ~eclectic
I DOUBT:
That things always work out for the best; That anything bad lasts forever.
That I'll remember everything I want to remember; That I'll be able to forget all the things I need to forget.
That everyone who says, "I'm sorry" actually understands what that means; That everyone who fails to say sorry actually understands what they've done.
That I'll live long enough to fully solve the riddle of my own emotions; That anyone does.
That real love is possible without a belief in something larger than self; That true hate ever leads to anything noble.
That life for its own sake is always the highest objective; That death is always the least favorable outcome.
That much of what we cling to is worth the effort; That much of what we let go will be missed.

I don't mind re-runs, especially when I don't remember the initial run. :) My favorite is the last one--words to live by.

This is my favorite. Its very true. Re-runs are a-o-k!
I like re-runs too. Especially if they are worthwhile. I doubt that I've ever read anything so simple yet so profound.
I love them all . . . I love you too!
I am saving these and printing them out.
"That I'll remember everything I want to remember; That I'll be able to forget all the things I need to forget."
Beautiful. I think I missed this the first time around, so I don't mind it at all.
I can't work up a smartass comment this morning, it's been an icky few days.
I'm still half asleep, so this was a wonderful way to begin the day!
Re-runs are just fine, especially yours.
Nothin' wrong with reruns.
Syndicated words of wisdom are always welcome. :o)
You know.....sometimes I just want to hug you....
((((HUG))))))
.....that is all. Hope you're having a great weekend.:)

Sunday evening check-in: All well Eeeclectic?
This is wonderful and wise and I am now going to read it again.
I missed this the first time around, so it's fresh and new to me.
There is so much truth to everthing in this. Also, some sadness. I'm trying to see it as just plain realistic, but I keep seeing an edge.
Hi.
Hi Eclectic.
All too true. Lovely post, or re-post. Doesn't matter, it's good.
The last one speaks volumes to me right now.
Anyone need a set of high school yearbooks from 91-94? :op
