In My Own Front Yard

Somedays, it's good to know that there is beauty living so close to hand:

And Lynn, I haven't forgotten the cherry blossoms, I just never have my camera handy at the right moment. I'll work on that tomorrow, I promise.

It is indeed, a wonderful gift, to have such beauty right within our reach. Not unlike a dear friend, who is only a phone call or an email away.
Thinking of you this morning. XOXOXOX

How pretty - are any of them fragrant? I love the smell of lilacs and hyacinths (sp?).

It's not quite the same, but I have some plastic geraniums on my balcony that are pretty when they're not covered in dust and bird poop.

Excellent specimens, shari. People don't know this about me, but I actually studied plantology for a while. What you've photographed here are what sciencers call "flowers". Most people think of flowers as primarily a source of protein, but I've discovered that they are also very pretty for looking at.

I apologize if I've gotten too techistic with my talking. I realize some of you aren't as trained real good like I am being.

Lovely photos.

Hello, shari.

Nice pictures. You must have snapped them between 12:55 and 1:00 just before bringing the little guy home.

I've been thinking about you my Friend. Hope things are settling down and you're actually able to sit back, relax and enjoy some of the beauty surrounding you.

{{HUGS}} & eyeball licks (from Moto, of course)

Ok Limpy's comment cracked me up!

Such beautiful flowers. I love those top ones. What are those? Star magnolias? If I had to piece together names with blossoms I'd say 'paperwhites' but I don't think that is what they are. :)

Thanks for sharing the nice photo’s.
Spring is suppose to be the most beautiful time of the year, but the past few days has been devastating to so many family’s. My heartfelt sympathy is sent to all who knew the SWLF families.
