My heart only breaks when it's beating....
Frankly, this situation breaks my heart, but I can't leave it at that because that's too passive a response. Please, go give some blove to Deb right now. She has leukemia and is in the process of undergoing a stem cell transplant this week. It is hell. And it could take her life. Not that you'd know from reading her blog, because Deb? She is remarkably witty, incredibly insightful and inspiring.
Despite her "I can do this" attitude, she could use all the love and prayer and positive energy you can spare, and so could her little girl, Zoe. Thanks, truly. It's a small thing, I know, but life at it's finest is made up of the accumulation of lots of little things.

Will go right now.
Thanks, Amy! I'm sure you can make her laugh, too, which is the best medicine. At least, you always make ME laugh...
I'm with Chia.
Done, you with your sweetheart!
I've been there a few times, but thanks for the blogger reminder!
Hope everything is ok with you.
I had a few bucks left in my PayPal account from an eBay purchase - this is a great cause to help me clean that up and help her with her expenses - just in case anyone has the same idea I'm sure she'd appreciate it.
done (eclectic) and done (jim).
Just came back.
She's an inspiration!
Damn, I am impressed by her aura and fighting power.
:o)
You are so beautiful. Thanks sweetie...
I stole this from you and put something similar on my site to ask people to head over to Deb's place.
I didnt think you would mind, and the more readers she gets, the better.
Love you!!
I came over to get in on the tasting and touching evil. And then I see this. You are such a fraud. No evil here. Only good. Only the very best. Love you, Shari.
Deb sure seems brave. Her posts are entertaining while she's going through some of the scariest crap in her life. Thanks for the reminder.
Deb is an inspiration. Her situation is soooo scary. Thanks for this post so we can all go over and cheer her up.
I'm just here to say, "I know." And to wipe some tears, and give you a big TACKLEHUG!!!! I know my cheerleading skirt is way too short. It's about oh.... 3 sizes too small ;)
You and Susie are the best.
Chia: Thanks for helping me haul it around, Sweetie! I think that's why it's so heavy... I'm surrounded by so many people I love.
Jim: Awwwww, you're gonna make me blush right here in front of everybody.
Nina: Well, a sweet heart is nothing new or unusual to you, my dear! Certainly you have one just like it...
Lawbrat: Thanks for your concern, sweetie! It's been an interesting week, but nothing compared to Deb's. I'll come out of my cocoon soon, I promise! Thanks for asking.
Jim: Are you an angel from heaven? Because I'm fairly certain at this very moment that you must certainly be! "And the angel, Jim, sayeth unto her..."
Zuhn: Simple gracious efficiency. Another trait I envy and admire about you, Zuhn. Hugs to you!
M/D: No doubt, huh? She's something! So are you!!! Thanks for sending her some blove.
Nikki: Tissue?
You are my hero. Seriously. I think I would crawl up and die after what you've been through, but not you. No, you rally around others needing help and find the strength, and grace, and determination to make this damned harsh world into a beautiful place... just by being in it.
Chia: Absolutely!! I think that's what's so powerful about her site -- the almost palpable love. So glad you've been touched by it! :::smoochies:::
Traci: Your comments over there are so beautiful! And given what you've just been through, I can't even imagine you can marshall enough strength to be so compassionate to someone else. My hat's off to you, Traci!
Lawbrat: Aw, imitation is the highest form of flattery, so I'm just honored! And you're right: the more people over there cheering her on, the better! Love you, back!!
Susie: Well, I squeeze in the evil when I'm not too busy being a saint. Y'know, to everything there's a season... Love you too, Suse!
Squirl: She is a funny lady -- such a bright mind and gentle spirit! Thanks for heading over there.
Kranki: It is scary, but I believe there's power in positive thinking, especially when there's a whole lotta people doing so! You're proof of it!!
Nikki: *heh* Give Shoshie my best, would you? I miss her!
Susie: A tacklehug?? But I'll get grass stains on my modest skirt!
William: I believe it takes one to know two...
Romy: You are very welcome, my dear! Isn't she something?? And thank you so much for visiting Deb!!
Rachel: Never indebted to me, my sister. Being counted among those you consider a friend is more than enough to bring the account current!! You and Nikki and Shoshie and Lisabeth have a free pass from me till the end of time.
