Crazy Busy

Thanks everyone for your well-wishes and concern for me! I'm healthy again -- have been since Sunday -- but the whirling vortex of undone tasks while I was out has swept me into the abyss, so it may be another day or two before I have a real post.

If you have a calendar on your computer system at work and the front desk staff have access to it, is it too much to expect that they will actually open it, understand it, respect it and NOT schedule conflicting appointments?

Repeatedly??

Because really, I'm quite weary of having to call people to cancel appointments I never made and didn't know about. I take responsibility for the scheduling difficulty on the phone, but it irks me. I dislike having to explain that I really am unavailable, I really was unavailable at the time they scheduled their now-cancelled appointment, and it's nothing personal. Then the scramble to reschedule now-grumpy clients.

Hmph.
