About nothing in particular...

Happy Saturday! Prowling about today, I visited Closet Metro and swiped this quiz:

The Keys to Your Heart

You are attracted to good manners and elegance.

In love, you feel the most alive when everything is uncertain, one moment heaven... the next moment hell.

You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.

Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage as something that will confine you. You are afraid of marriage.

In this moment, you think of love as something you thirst for. You'll do anything for love, but you won't fall for it easily.

Apparently I'm afraid of marriage? Well, not really of marriage itself; but maybe I am a little afraid of the word. What really frightens me is when the government believes it can define relationships by applying or refusing to apply such a word. But, that's a post for another day.

Now I ask you, Gentle Reader(s):

What Are The Keys To Your Heart?

You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.
Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.

But then it gave me this too:

Your risk of cheating is 100%. You are not suited for a monogamous relationship.
In this moment, you think of love as something you can get or discard quite easily.

So this did cause me to laugh and feeling a bit confused. I'm also thinking that Jimmy the Afican Grey would take offense to this question.

# If you someday met an animal that could speak in human language, you would want that animal to be a...

* Horse
* Sheep
* Rabbit
* Bird

Thanks for the fun today! :)

Ohh ooh ooh, I did it too! I thought at first I was taking the wrong quiz because it was all about animals! Heh.

So here's mine:

You are attracted to good manners and elegance.

In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.

You'd like to your lover to think you are loyal and faithful... that you'll never change.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was ruthless, cold-blooded, and sarcastic.

Your ideal relationship is open. Both of you can talk about everything... no secrets.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as something you thirst for. You'll do anything for love, but you won't fall for it easily.

Ok, I HAD to laugh about the "marriage is sacred" crap. Since the age of 12 I was adament that I was NEVER getting married! And now I find it "sacred"? Hmmm, interesting.

And I dont mean my human children.

Here's mine. I'm still not sure how choosing a bunch of animals came up with these answers:

You are attracted to good manners and elegance.

In love, you feel the most alive when your lover is creative and never lets you feel bored.

You'd like to your lover to think you are stylish and alluring.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was emotional, moody, and difficult to please. Not really. I don't mind moody, emotional or difficult to please. I do mind boring.

Your ideal relationship is lasting. You want a relationship that looks to the future... one you can grow with.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment. Ha! I've cheated or wanted to cheat but the right opportunity didn't present itself in every one of my relationships. I know. I'm an ass.

You think of marriage as something that will confine you. You are afraid of marriage. I wouldn't mind being married right about now, actually.

In this moment, you think of love as something you can get or discard anytime. You're feeling self centered. Oh, hardly. Hardly at all.

Okay, I have never cheated and don't think I ever could. Everyone else risk of cheating is zero and mine is 100% . . . I'm thinking that speaking in human language to a bird did me in. But since I have a bird talking to me everyday in human language every day, is no reason that I'd be cheating. :)

A horse told me I was self-centered.
I told him to go ride himself.

Nina: You rogue, you! Trips to Pheonix, my ass! You're actually going to Reno, aren't you? ***heh heh**

Kat: Hmmmm, interesting indeed. And so scientific, too!

Lawbrat: I liked what you said over at Kylz's. No surprise, really since I like much of what you say everywhere!

Sooze: We have 5 of the same results! I knew I liked you...!!!

Nikki: You are very, very strong. You'd have to be to hold up that beautiful angel in your arms! It's a lovely picture of two very attractive ladies!! Hey, we have 4 identical results to the quiz.

Jess: You DO have two keys to my heart! Actually, you have more than that, but really, how many do you need?!

Zuhn: Note to self: Zuhn hates to be bored. Perhaps if I added confetti to my posts? ;)

Nina: I don't know, it could be very tempting to drop-kick a husband sometimes in favor of a really bright African Gray... maybe they're on to something over there! ;)

M/D: You goofball! **mwa**

Nikki: I'm so happy you added exclamation points so I'm not alone in my overuse of them! That urchin can't possibly out-eat my 9 year-old boy and 4 month-old puppy! And anyway, she's just so darn precious I'd give her anything she wanted!

Isn't HIPAA a pain in the neck? Like the Medicare anti-fraud, anti-abuse, StarkI and II, and other such lovely reg.s haven't already created enough of a paper storm... I digress.

Anyway, I'm all for pre-arranged marriages.

Lisabeth: Hello! We've certainly been up to mishigas (sp?), haven't we?? Are you in Washington, too? If so, maybe when Shoshie's kids come to visit, we can tag-team them. My daughter's a very good au pair, so I'm sure she'd help out with all the little ones! That Grace of yours is going to be a handful -- so much personality!!! I loved reading about her antics and how much she helped. So glad you stopped by!

I did mine and it was good right up until the last sentence. It said that right now I thought of love as something I could throw away. That pissed me off so I didn't post it.

Come check out the 70's era picture of Bucky and me, though. I did post that. tee hee

Strange and fun quiz...I really don't care about the results..but I liked thinking about all those animal questions :)

JD's Rose: I'm just glad you're feeling better -- it was nothing and I was happy to do it. Here's to better days!

Shosie: The twins! Hooray! Are their arms soft and tender? Because Brizzy is still losing puppy teeth and is always looking for something (or someone) to chew (gently) on. *heh heh*

Squirl: Already been there! And boy, oh boy, was it worth the trip!!! Absolutely fabulous!!!! I'm still chuckling, but I confess to a little envy, too. I can't imagine being so close to siblings for that many years now. I love that you guys are still tight.

Bucky: That's the correct procedure -- y'know, if you answered yes, then skip to question 57, close your test booklet and put down your pencil.

Bradley E: Amen, brother. The quiz is what's intriguing... not so much the results. Thanks for stopping by!

I DO NOT LIKE NEIL SEDAKA! (In fact, I can barely spell his name;) Damn, once these nasty rumors start in blogworld, it is so hard to get them under control.

Ahem, where was I? OK. I am attracted to people with boxes of crunchy, cheesy things. But I would totally cheat on them for someone with some orange creme Rolos. I am DEEP. (Can you tell where I am in my "cycle?" Is that TMI?)

Jack'sRose: Wait a minute... it's sacred but not enough not to cheat? Yeah... THAT makes sense! Silly quiz!!

SierraB: Must be the California connection! And thanks for the birthday wishes -- I'll pass them along to her. She's been blown away by my bloggies being so nice to her! But, for the record, she's only TWELVE! Please, for the love of everything, SierraBella, DON'T rush that one! Have a heart?!

Nikki: I think Shoshie's twins will probably just stand at the edges of the room, shocked and awed by the nuclear explosion that is Carter chasing Brizzy, and vice versa.

I like visiting Deb's site -- she's an incredibly bright and entertaining woman. Thanks for hooking me up with her blog.

And Neil? Does anyone but our darling Susie actually like Neil Sedaka? ;)

Jack'sRose: Yep -- and thanks for checking!! Just distracted by too many things to get a real post out. I'm still prowling around and leaving comments everywhere, though.

William: Hi, William! So nice of you to drop by! Can I get you some coffee or something?

Susie: Neil is certainly cheesy, so I guess that explains why you like him so much. ;)

Cycle? WHAT cycle??! I can't think of a cycle that would cause cravings for Rolos or other sweet candy goodness. Huh... it's a mystery.

Bucky: Neil and Susie. If you say it fast it sounds like "Kneelin' Susie". I like it alot!! Don't go home just yet -- I'm just warming up!
