Bleh

Not skiing. Not today, or tomorrow. Spent the morning at the doctor. Pisses me off. Not so much that I feel like crap, that I could deal with. It's the screwing up a whole weekend of skiing on the first open weekend of the season. THAT is what pisses me off. But I'll get over it. After I wallow in it long enough...

See Squirl? I really DO hate being disappointed, I wasn't kidding. Buy you a scotch? Cause that's what I'm having.

I have to assume that the scotch is strictly for medicinal purposes, probably for a cough? :) ec

Sorry your plans fell through. I blame it on the evil that is sports.

Awww, I hope you feel better. Missing out on skiing is not so fun. Maybe next weekend?

I tried to say Happy Birthday on your last post, but blogger word verification was being difficult. I re-typed it several times, kept double checking...yup, right word, yet it wouldnt post. :-(

Happy Birthday little E!

Mr. Ed: *heh* Now see what you've done? You ruined a perfectly good pout I had going on and got me laughing. ;) Thanks.

M_D: Just don't give the beer TO the children, 'kay? Although, now that you mention it....! Thanks for the vibes.

Mr. Bloggy: Sports = Evil. *sigh* I will try to get it right, really I will. But, my Broncos are playing AT Kansas City today. And now I get to see the game because I'm not on the hill skiing. So how can this sliver lining be evil?? Oh Wise One, I'm so confused...

Lawbrat: Next weekend I'm attending continuing education in Seattle. *sigh* But, perhaps I'll sneak in mid-week. And Carter thanks you for the happy wishes -- sorry Blogger was being a pain.

Susie: How did you know? Or rather, how does Blogger know? Briz is in fact smiling!! That's just creepy. Is Blogger actually Orwell's Big Brother? ;) Thanks for the unbleh wishes. Happy Sunday to you!

Nina: Me either... obviously! Thanks for dropping by -- it made me feel better!

Hey - hope you're feeling better soon! I hear playing with puppies and sipping scotch can do wonders for what ails you.

Hmm... all I need now is a puppy!

This silver lining is clearly locking you in for another pile of evil happenings. Change the channel I say.

Ok, I'm slow,....did you break something going down the mountain, or didn't you even make it to the mountain, because you have the flu????? or maybe had to much scotch getting up nerve to go up the mountain,,,,and have the scotchaflu......lol

Jenny: Laughing at blogs is very helpful as well. And if you want a puppy, I've got one you can have at around 2:30am every day....

Bloggy: Done. But there's football on the other channel, too. It must be the kind hand of fate, rewarding me for my oh-so-positive attitude.

Judy: No, you're not slow, darlin. I'm being vague. Intentionally so. Not a broken limb, not the flu. Just a fluke, requiring immediate medical attention and a couple days enforced rest. Although, if I keep going this way, I may have the scotchaflu tomorrow....!

Sooze: Yes M'am! Resting as ordered. Chafing, and hating life... but resting as ordered. Thanks, amiga.

I would be disappointed, too. So sorry you're feeling bad and had to miss your ski weekend.

Pass me some of that scotch, we can commiserate together.

The best part of skiing is the booze in the resort anyway..so just save the expense of the trip. See? You're already ahead.

I hope you feels all gooder soon.

Time to put on the foil hat and block out the evil rays I suppose.

My thoughts are with you.

Squirl: Scotch it is, sistah! On the mend now, but I still need the scotch for..., for... uh... for celebration purposes, yeah... that's the ticket.

SierraB: It was a study you read somewhere, right? ;)

Jim: You make an excellent point, my friend! Think of the money I'll save going directly to the apres ski martinis and hot tub!! Genius!

Bloggy: Oh, your poor thoughts! I've been a royal pain the last coupla days, so if they've been hanging out with me, there's no telling how traumatized they'll be. Better not expect too much outta them for a day or two while they recover... Thanks for sending them, though!

Twixie: Thank you so much!! I'm definitely much better today.

Killer: Awww, alright then... scotch for everyone! Party!!
