Before the Candy Rush

So Halloween came and went, and all of the good parents have already published and (probably) framed the pictures of their darlings in costume the very next day... but, I'm obviously one of those parents who can't be bothered until the following day.

Here is LE (Littlest Eclectic) during daylight hours. Mickey wouldn't display his white gloves for some reason...

"Autumn Sprite" was dreamed, designed and displayed by LGE (Little Girl Eclectic); while LBE (Little Boy Eclectic) is a "mad scientist, with a touch of Dr. Seuss"; and LE is a furry warm horse by night, although in this photo it's hard to tell. Sadly, a photo is only as good as the photographer and in this case, it was me.

The pumpkin in the above picture is shown below in the dark. The LEC (Little Eclectic Children) were sooooooooo excited to get this one done.

That's what Halloween looked like here this year. Thanks for stopping by!

Awwwwww, they are adorable. The pumpkin is wonderful . . . looks like they had a great time. I love that LGE dreamed, designed "Autumn Sprite." Imagination is what it is all about.
This year I just gave out candy as a tired, old Indian woman the costume was cheap. ;) Oh wait, I wasn't wearing a costume.

LGE is my kind of gal! That's an awesome costume.

They all looked great....well as best they could look with your photo skills (KIDDING!!!)

Thank you for sharing the pics with us.

When I'm babysitting next weekend I'll pull up this pictures and show LE to Sydney Suzanne and see if I get a "ga ga" (or a "goo goo", I'll take a "goo goo") out of her ;-)

Very nice, indeed!
I have to admit, I'm a sucker for Mickey Mouse.
The Autumn Sprite costume is fantastic!

It was very much worth the wait...

I like the Autumn Sprite costume and I love the way the Pumpkin was carved. Like a batsignal.

OK, Mickey (LE) is just too cute to be allowed. Well, actually, they're ALL too cute to be allowed. It's photos like that that make me wish we homos could reproduce.

Then I remember my 12 day old niece giving me a yellow-ish, steamy gift on my new jeans when I was 13 and THAT, as they say, takes care of THAT.

Nanina: Thanks! But you did promise they'll grow up, right?? ;)

I don't know... making you look tired may be do-able, but old? Nah. I've seen you. No way I'm buying old...!

Sooze: See, I think you and LGE are kindred spirits, too! And if you'd get your tail up here so I didn't have to take all the pictures, then maybe more of them would turn out! Let me know what Sydney Sooze says, btw. I'm curious...!

Squirl: Thank you, and of course, you're welcome too. I gladly inflict my offspring on you guys!!

Mrtl: I thought of you and coveted your Mousekat-ears as I was getting his face paint ready!

M_D: Really, when it comes down to it, who ISN'T a sucker for The Mouse?

William: Cool! You recognized it as a batsignal -- that's exactly what they wanted it to be!!

Jim: They are waaaayyy cute in pictures... and occasionally in person, too! It's funny you mention your niece -- family lore has it that I christened my own aunt in similar fashion, although I believe it was in a car. THAT had to be fun...

Very cute pictures.....especially the mouse......and Autumn sprite was very creative.....and after all the candy, did the mad scientist act mad......lol

:) Yes sweetie they do grow up . . . but you might want to find a way to freeze that mouse . . . and not let him grow up.
Oh wait you have a baby on the way . . . that will help. So I am going to be waiting for those baby pictures. Pictures of baby Briz.

P.S. I forgot to mention how cute I think those treat bags are.

How delicious!! Your kiddies are such cuties. A friend of mine had me in hysterics, telling me how all year round we tell our kids, don't talk to strangers! Don't take candy from strangers!! Don't walk in the street!! Eat healthy!! Candy in moderation!! Then one night a year we throw that all by the wayside let them consume as much candy as they desire and speak to the strangest people i have ever come across!! and I wonder why my kids are going to need serious therapy one day!!!

Judy-P: Yes M'am.... the mad scientist went completely crazy with the sugar high. But I got it on video for blackmail purposes later...! ;)

Nina: It was so much fun painting that little mouse nose on him... And those treat bags were from Target. One buck. LOVE it!

Tammy: Why, thank you! Isn't it funny? We do change the rules on a BIG scale on this one night, don't we? LE did ask last night if we could "tickercheat" again...

Mr. B: Thanks! But that's it? A compliment. No smart-ass comment? **sheesh** I have to do ALL the work around here, I can see that. Fine.

Brando: So... I guess that means I don't really have to share the scotch with him, then. Right??

What an adorable trio! Had they come to my door, I would have pulled out the full-sized candy bars I keep for the ultra special trick-or-treaters.

But instead, I ate them. (the candy bars, not your children)

At 7:44 PM, Blogger eclectic said...

Well, as long as you didn't subject them to your QQ... Oh wait. You ate the CANDY, you say? Nevermind.

The CUTENESS!

It's the rare, lucky person who gets to witness the QQ, certainly NEVER when children are around. (I think we need these emoticons to become part of regular internet vernacular.)
