C'mon over, an' sit a spell... we'll have coffee out on the porch.
This is what I see when I step onto my back deck right now, and what YOU would see if you came to have coffee with me. The ridgeline is commonly called "Sage Hills" and is a local mecca for mountain biking and trail running. I just like to look at it.

This is a close-up of the weeping cherry tree in my front yard.

This is a neighbor's yard. Go ahead, YOU try keeping up with THESE Joneses...

And here is a random tree in town that I thought was beautiful.

A few reasons why I'm so in love with where we live. Happy Autumn!

WHEN can I come visit? I promise I will sleep on the deck and you won't even *know* I'm there.....'cept when I have to use your bathroom or when Moto barks at things*
*I can't leave him with the Hubs for too long and I don't know how long I'd need to stay with you in order to soak in all that beauty.
These are amazing views, all of them. We have no autumn color in MD. Whassup w'dat?
wow-what a view. for some reason, some of our trees have been changing since august this year. I love the colours of fall.
happy autumn, right back atcha :)
I will be right over, for the coffee wonderful view, and fantastic company. I would so enjoy having coffee with you! :) I was going to post the fall picture today from my back porch . . . just haven’t got around to it.
P.S. The pictures are breath taking!
SoozieQ: RIGHT NOW! ***taps fingers on desktop***
Susie: What IS up with that?! Sheesh, what with all the showing off in the spring... y'know, the cherry blossoms that y'all are famous for... you'd think you'd get a little something in the Fall... Well, no matter, I'll share mine!
Blogaholic: Thanks!! Maybe your trees know something we don't yet, like, it's gonna be a hefty winter? Cute profile pic!
Kitty: (I'm giggling at your fangs...) You're welcome!! I'm glad your weather is still kind. When does winter hit up there?
Nanina: Wonderful! I'll put a fresh pot on. And maybe SoozieQ and Moto will be joining us soon. I think my sides will hurt, 'cause I have an idea that we're going to laugh a LOT!
Great views. Nothing like that here in Florida. Makes me miss the North.
Just gorgeous! Don't you love fall? So, from these comments, it looks like you've got quite a party going on at your house now. Should I bring some wine instead of coffee?
Kittys second comment is why I am so NOT in love with Michigan. You never know. My oldest sons birthday is May 8th. Sometimes were in shorts, sometimes shoveling snow. This week is really nice, who knows what will happen next? 2 feet of snow?
I just might have to visit WA. Those pictures are beautiful and I LOVE hiking and mountain biking. Kids are really good at mountain biking too.
I would so enjoy sitting on your deck looking at your beautiful sight sipping a cup of coffee....toffee nut creamer please....lol.....your pictures are beautiful.....this is my favorite time of year....just came in from cleaning up my back yard...it was more fun in the spring planting those flowers, than cleaning them up in the fall. You must live by the mountains... what a wonderful sight....thanks for sharing......
Pretty pictures!
I like this time of year mainly for the leaves.
Wow--gorgeous photos and beautiful views. Our colors aren't too great this year because the weather has been too warm. Thanks for sharing them with us!
Lucky, lucky you. What a view.
William: I feel your pain, Bruthah. I lived in Orlando for 3.5 years (and 17 days, 6 hours... but who's counting?), and COULD NOT WAIT to see real Spring and Fall again. It's not that Florida doesn't have Four Seasons: Hot(Dec-Feb), Hotter(Mar-May), Hottest(Jun-Aug), and Hurricane(Sep-Nov), it's just that they're all the same. I send Autumn wishes to you!
Kitty: Bleh. Stealth Winter. Hate that.
Jenny: Yes, please. Or Scotch...
Lawbrat: Think Washington, NOT Texas!! WA, not TX... WA, not TX. Repeat.
Judy: Toffee nut creamer, comin' right up!
M_D: Mmm... leaves!
Sharkey: Autumn disappointment -- I hate that! Well, you're welcome to come visit -- the color is wonderful for another week!!
Kranki:Thanks! I guess I am pretty lucky. It's sad how easy it is to forget that sometimes.
Wow, I'd love to have such a glorious view in back yard... all I get is a view into the window of the people's aparment accross the court yard, and that's usually the dude sitting on his pc with his dog looking back at me. Thanks for coming by and commenting!!
Here I nagged at you to post the pictures and I'm so durned far behind on reading posts that I almost missed it.
These colors are gorgeous. I wish a bunch of us really could get together for coffee or whatever. I would be a blast.
