This post delayed by a trip to the Urgent Care Clinic

No pictures. Because this weekend's camping extravaganza was cut short by a minor medical crisis involving a real world friend (hereinafter "RWF"). We were camping with a lovely group of people, one of whom awakened me this morning at the ass-crack of dawn with an urgent problem. So I scampered out of my little tent dragging on my clothes, and drove the hour back to civilization to get the RWF some medical attention.

**cue endless wait at "urgent" care center, even though we were the only ones in the building**

Finally, after poking, prodding, testing, drugging and filming, we were allowed to leave the premises and I took my RWF home. By now, it's ridiculous to think of driving back to the camp - they'll be packed up and leaving before I arrive. So I'm checking out all the blogging I missed while I wait for my family and worldly possessions to return home. Then the excitement of unpacking and endless laundry begins. Hope you guys have been entertaining this weekend, 'cause I'm reeeaally tired right now and I don't want to fall asleep at the keyboard.

Well RWF was lucky to have you there to help with the urgent problem . . . "urgent" care centers are just as bad as the ER. Paper work, then sit and wait, even when you are the only one there.

I hope you get some R&R . . .

Yes, I do hope you get some rest before the brood returns.

Hope your RWF continues to get better!

How much of the unpacking do you have to do? That is the worse part about coming home from any trip, camping or otherwise. Although I know that camping laundry is worse than any other kind!

mrtl: Thanks! Maybe I'll get to that margarita afterall...for you, of course, because I'm just altruistic that way. ;)

nanina: It was a bit frustrating, but all's well that ends well, right? Next time I'm a pain in my RWF's ass, I'm going to remind her that you said that she's lucky to have me here! *heh*

soozieq: I did get some rest, and my RWF just called and is doing better, too. You are too sweet!

shiloh: Fortunately, Mr. E is a shoulder-to-the-wheel kinda guy, and the big kids are pretty helpful, so really, just the food stuff and kitchen equipment remains my responsibility as far as unpacking. Laundry is also a shared task, but I'm obsessive/compulsive enough to want to supervise the after-camp laundry because you're right: it's nasty! Thanks for stopping by!!

I hope RWF is ok, and it wasent too serious. Camping is alot of fun. Out in nature, no distractions, no schedule....ahhhh. I want to take the kids before the season is over.

lawbrat: You should do it -- it really is a nice change of pace! And now that you're done with your exam, you've got the perfect opportunity! RWF is doing OK today, thanks for checking!

kitty: Thanks, sweetie! You know, I've been back to Squirl's several times to see if anyone picked up the ball, but Sierrabella musta forgotten she tagged me. *heavy sigh* Guess I'll have to tag someone else.
