The newest Eclectic-mobile is a Honda Pilot! We had to settle for our second choice on color in order to meet our perceived need for instant transportation, but in all honesty I think the silver is nice. It's Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle(ULEV) rated, and averages 25 mpg. For an 8-passenger vehicle, that's not bad. Regrettably it's not a hybrid, but at least it's not a belching guzzler.

Silver rocks, congrats on the new wheels!
I love silver, too. When I got my red car I was looking for white or silver. But, the red car was on the lot and they really wanted to sell it as it was a '99 and this was the day before Christmas Eve 1999.
Congrats!
Nice!
Mr. SB has a silver truck and it never shows the dirt!
Now my blue vehicle is a whole 'nother ball of wax.
jessbunny: Thanks! I'm liking the silver more each day.
squirl: Did it have a green and white interior?! Then it would have been seasonal!
sierrabee: Must be a dark blue, 'cause the sparkle light blues don't seem to show much dirt.
Yep, dark it is!
Pretty color when it's clean, which is rarely!
Ichabod used to have a silver Golf till he smashed it last summer. Now he has a black Jetta and it's always filthy and hot.
Maybe its good its not a hybrid. One of my friends was looking into them, in Michigan, and the batter goes about every 2 years and cost about 8K, and not covered by any warranty.
With the low emissions, and great gas milage...you did good!
I love the color too.
sierrabella: Blue's my favorite color.... even when it's dirty! Come to think of it, I like other things when they're dirty, too....! **wink**
squirl: Oooh, I'm so glad Ichabod was OK!! I'd only drive a black car if there were absolutely no other options available at any price. They are hot all the time and always look dirty even when they've just been washed -- chamois fibers or towel fuzzies even show up on them.
lawbrat: Wow! I'd not heard of that yet -- it's good to know. Thanks for helping me feel even better about a good purchase!
Silver is nice; that's what I have. I rarely wash my car, but the color is a nonissue concerning that. ;)
peter: You dirty, dirty boy...! Yet another commonality: I, too, rarely wash my car(s).
