Odds and Ends

Remember I was telling you about Proof? The production date has been moved into the Fall sometime because the remodel on the theater won't be complete in time for a Summer show. In itself this is no tragedy, right? Maybe you can salvage those summer weekends, enjoy the time off and come back to it in 3 or 4 months all energized, right? WRONG. Our brilliant director (and he really is brilliant in some ways) has opted instead for a modified rehearsal schedule throughout the interim, keeping everything "fresh" for 4 whole months. I laughed out loud. AT him. In his presence. This was not well received....

I skipped my 5 a.m. appointment at the gym this morning because I was just too darn tired to get up. What is THAT??

We're leaving town for the weekend. I'll not be posting nor checking messages as I'm refusing to take the laptop. Certain clients are worse than spammers, demanding to know the status of their cases by the minute. Perhaps I should charge by the email instead of the hour... but I digress. We're going a few towns away to participate in the "Gap-to-Gap" relay race. Friends are participating as well and it promises to be a great weekend! Alcohol will be involved, but not until after the race. *sigh*
